FAQ

What to wear?

We recommend ‘smart casual’ plain clothing free of logos/heavy stripes and large patterns as this will help your portraits to remain timeless.

If you wear clothes that you look great in, you will feel great every time you see those portraits on your wall. We have a fully self contained facility so feel free to bring a change of clothes if you would like a couple of different looks or something more formal.
If you have small children/baby we suggest bringing an extra set of clothing, favourite toy, warm clothing in cooler weather or late afternoon portrait sitting. If you desire a particular look, or want to bring a prop (musical instrument etc…)

Please call me to discuss.

Can we include pets in the portrait sitting?

Yes, we speak dog, cat, bird, crustacean (among others) and encourage pets to be included, after all they are an important part of your life!
Please let our photographer know when he gives you a call a few days beforehand, we can then discuss with you the best way to prepare your pet for the portrait sitting.

How long will it take?

The portrait sitting generally takes about an hour to an hour and a half.
We don’t rush things because we care about quality.
We take whatever time is necessary to capture your beautiful images.

What happens next?

Our designers go to work retouching and professionally enhancing your images and prepare a slideshow viewing presentation from the best ones. At the viewing we will show you these images and based upon the photos you like, we can help you choose the products which suit your needs best.

What is the Best Location?

Usually our Studio as we also have a lovely quiet park across the road where you can have the best of both indoor and outdoor photography in one sitting or your family may have a special beach or park where you have spent many happy times together, we can even come to your home if needed, just call Mark to discuss.
